  1. (1) Upvc extrusions is manufactured to BS7950 where applicable.4mm glass with a large 20mm cavity will be used to BS 5713.Patios and doors are glazed with toughened glass  to BS6206.Unfortunatley glass manufacturers will not guarantee against minor imperfections and the company cannot  be held responsible for such imperfections. All windows will meet document L Building regulations.
  2. (2) Our Upvc extrusion is guaranteed for 10 Years against discolouration, warping and cracking. All double glazed sealed units are guaranteed for 10 Years against condensation between the panes.
  3. (3) In order to comply with building regulations and Fensa, the installation needs to be registered and a certificate issued on completion, in order for this to happen your details will be held on a computer database at FENSA. The information is held for this sole purpose. Under the Data protection act we are obliged to seek your permission for your details to be held this way. If you do not wish your details to be held on the data base please inform us immediately , however we will be unable to affect your registration if you do not comply. By signing this order will mean you agree to this.
  4. (4) Insurance-as additional safeguard all work on your property is covered by 2 Million we insurance backed guarantees copy of our insurance can be seen on our Web Site.
  5. (5) Ownership of all good’s shall remain Horizon Burnham until all payments have been made. In the event of default on any payment for a period of 7 days the company can remove the goods without liability for any damaged caused. 3% Interest per month will be charged on the overdue account.  Any minor adjustments which may or may not be necessary after the installation shall not be a reason for withholding payment. The company cannot be liable to the customer or any party for consequential l loss.
  6. (6) Any date named by the seller for delivery or installation is given and intended as an estimate only and is not to be the essence of the contract. The buyer shall nevertheless be bound to accept the goods as ordered. The customer will accept delivery or provide reasonable access to enable installation to be completed as soon as delivery is advised ready. If within 28 Days of such advise an appointment has not been fixed the balance of the purchase price is the due and Payable.
  7. (7) We   reserve the right to Manufacturer in the way considered suitable by the company and the right is reserved for any change in design or specification of Parts.
  8. (8) The contract is subject to survey, Cancellation is only acceptable if no work or costs have been incurred
  9. (9) The complete elimination of environmental condensation is not guaranteed.
  10. (10) Horizon Burnham will be as careful as possible but the company cannot undertake to make good interior or exterior decorations including internal. external tiles and  wall paper .The company does not undertake to move services, fixtures or fittings which  are ancillary to the basic structure of the property e.g.  radiators, pipes, electricity, telephone or television cables. The company will endeavour to ensure that the works match existing finishes but will not be liable for none matching due to weathering or existing materials and cannot guarantee the matching of external finishes such as pebble dashing, Tyrolean or similar materials. When variations occur in existing plaster lines, the company cannot guarantee that equal amounts of sub frame will be visible all around. The company cannot undertake to remove intact any existing glass frames or secondary double glazed units without causing damage. All materials removed during the course of the installation will be cleared from site and cannot be retrieved thereafter. If any materials are to be retained this must be stated on the contract.
  11. (11) At the time of survey you will receive an explanation of the works to be carried out before the job starts, our installers will be glad to discuss the days works with you and answer any queries and give advice
  12. (12) The customer has a right to cancel this agreement by sending recorded delivery or taking written notice of cancellation to the office within 7 Days of the date of this contract. In accordance with your consumer rights.
  13. (13) In the interest of a complaint or query, written notice of the query should be sent to the companies address by recorded delivery.
  14. (14) All Balances due are to be paid on completion Date.
